The Goats!
Our goats are not on a typical farm, we spoil our animals. They are treated like our pets, we make them toys, re-arrange their pasture so they do not get bored. We brush them almost every day, they are fed horse quality 2nd cut hay, and we tuck them in at night. We like to hangout in the pasture with them drinking our tea while they nap on our laps. Sometimes we even run around with them. They are very well taken care of and socialized. So you can expect the same treatment to be provided to the goat Kids but with more cuddles.
TP Cattle is our vet all of our goats are vaccinated, disbudded and papered. The herd is clean tested and closed we have 2 Sires that we breed, their information is below.
Our Sire, Sinai Thunder RF Watchman AKA Snickers is Dark Buckskin with moon spots he has a friendly personality and is very laid back. His lineage is above and speaks volumes for the kids he should produce.
Houdini came from a horse farm and he neighs instead of Baahs he is very friendly. He likes to talk and has the a very soft coat of fur. He lineage does have a 1*M from his Grandmother and his sisters have large utters and won a national championship. We cannot wait to see his kids potential.
The Stooges- came from a farm in Ohio and are sisters they have their distinct personalities and traits which are listed below. Their Grandfather has a *B rating and it does show during milking season.
Curli is the brown doe and she is the head of the herd. She loves her attention and compliments. She has produced very beautiful doelings and very nice bucklings that would be excellent show goats and breeders.
Larri, the white, black and brown doe is reserved and likes to hang back until she knows you. She produces a lot of milk and the largest bucklings out of all our goats.
Mo is the mostly black doe but has produced very nice fawn color doe's (pictured above). She is adventurous and likes to explore, which has carried through to her kids.
Honey and Toast are our other pair of sisters, they were local from Brewerton. As you can see in the left hand picture they are a small breed goat for Nigerian Dwarf goat standards. They have the softest fur coat we have ever come across and produce a lot of milk for such a smaller size goat, both have blue eyes as well. Their kids are small as well but are healthy and adventurous.
Toast who has slightly more white on her head is very talkative and her kids take on that trait.
Honey has less white on her head is the opposite she doesn't talk a lot but is the lookout for the herd so her kids are very attentive.
2027 Line up
Watchman AKA Snickers will breed with the Stooges
The stooges milk production yields around 3/4 gallon a day when drying out combined with Snickers lineage, we expect very productive large utter kids from this combination. On top of the milk production you can expect Larri to produce large bucklings which will carry Snickers lineage forward. Curli and Mo should produce a mix of doelings and bucklings that will have beautiful coloration, moon spots and blue eyes.
Houdini will be breeding with Honey and Toast
We expect very soft fluffy kids since both Houdini, Honey and Toast all have very soft coats. Houdini's sisters have great bags and we expect that to carry through to the kids. We expect blue eyes will be mixed in the litter. So if you want small sized, soft, fluffy goats that will produce a nice amount of milk these kids are for you.
2027 ADGA Kids Reserve list
You can join our reservation list for Kids when they become available. You will be emailed a power point of the Kids and will have 24 hours to reply back and pay your deposit to secure your pick. If someone else selects a kid before you we will email you back stating to select a different option.
After 48 hours from the email release we list all the available kids on our website for sale to the general public.
